A phone conversation was held between Mikheil Saakashvili and Hillary Clinton
A phone conversation was held between the President of Georgia and United Sates Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton today. The progress reached by Georgia on the road to integrating in NATO was the main topic of discussion during their conversation. Mikheil Saakashvili called on the Secretary of State to use the chance, which has appeared as a result of democratically held elections in the country, within the scope of the ministerial in order to discuss Georgia’s progress in terms of integration in NATO in the wake of government transition.
At the end of the discussion the Secretary of State gave a high assessment to the President’s approach to internal issues of the country.
