Tushishvili's family, from Village Vardisubani, Telavi region hosted the President of Georgia today. Mikheil Saakashvili participated in vintage together with them. Afterwards, the President drove a car himself and brought Tushishvilis' to Tbilisi, at Varketili stock market for the realization of grape harvest. They took newly opened Gombori road. Saakashvili asked several questions to them regarding various issues about region during the trip. He stresses his attention on employment and education issues. The President noted that new road to Sioni would be constructed soon as well and it will attract more tourists and locals will have more chance to have some additional income. 

It took the President 50 minutes to come to Tbilisi from Telavi. During the trip Omar Tushishvili thanked the President for restoring Gombori road. He noted that the shortened road is a great benefit for a peasant - it requires less petroleum and it will decrease price on production.

"We are doing this road, because people, people who work hard have to feel a relief. A person who produces products, will host  tourists and will put money back into the business and this will support our country. Restaurants and cafés will open on this road soon, but it is important these buildings wouldn't damage the view of this nature. Everybody must use this chance and do their best. We cannot require people to build wealthy buildings - buildings of simple construction must be build here", Mikheil Saakashvili noted.

The President spoke with the housewife of the family as well, who appeared to be the associate of Telavi female consultation center. Mikheil Saakashvili got interested with the demographical situation of this region. "Our facility was renovated by the efforts of our regional administration, the conditions there got better and the birth rate has increased", miss Giuli noted.

The President asked about the situation at schools as well and spoke about the importance of education. "The most simple and right way to achieve success is education. Person, who will do something in this direction - will have a good life", he noted.

The President spoke about the development of tourism infrastructure. He said that it became possible to revive Mestia and Sighnaghi in a very short period of time and it should be done in every region. Mikheil Saakashvili considers that the biggest success was achieved by everybody's effort. 

"Mr President, everybody knows how the country looked liked when it was handed over to you and how Georgia reached the peak", Mr. Omar noted.

Although, Mikheil Saakashvili added that it's a long way to go to reach the top of the mountain.

"We still have to reach the top of the mountain, but we are going forward - this is a fact. If they don't stand on our way and everybody will work together, we would reach great success. We need two or three years to make this process irreversible. It took David the Builder 34 years to concur Tbilisi. He was even defeated in several battles initially, but he built a lot, he carried out reforms, punished the feudales, he developed economy, supported education and by the help of the whole nation, reached the final success. Without Tbilisi there would be no Georgia today. It is true, that our enemies have pretensions on Tbilisi as well, but they will not live up to that day. We will return what we have lost for certain time - what belongs to us, must stay with us", Mikheil Saakashvili noted.
