President Mikheil Saakashvili and the President of Latvia, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, on October 5 held a face-to-face talk after which the two Presidents signed three agreements on "air communication", "promoting investments" and "economic, industrial and technical cooperation". 
After signing the agreements the Presidents held a joint news conference. At the news conference the Latvian President has said that she does not exclude the participation of Latvian peacekeepers in the peacekeeping process at Georgian-Abkhazian and Georgian-Ossetian conflict zones.
