The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili attended the opening of the street named after a Russian journalist Olga Konskaya in Gldani-Nadzaladevi region.
A Russian movie producer Andrey Nekrasov, Olga Konskaya's husband attended the ceremony as well. Andrey Nekrasov and Olga Konskaya made a film "Russian Lessons" on Russian-Georgian war. Olga Konskaya passed away, soon after the movie was ready, at the age of 44.
"Andrey came to Tbilisi and was moving in the direction of Gori. They met each other at Karaleti block post of the occupants. People who are dying don't tell a lie. This is the most evident documentary material that was made by these two Russian patriots on this war. I don't know whether there exist two Russias, but I exactly know that there are very many honest Russian patriots living in Russia, who perfectly well know that Georgia did not attack Russia, the future of Russia and its freedom depends on the freedom of the neighboring countries", stated the President of Georgia.
