President Mikheil Saakashvili met with the freshmen on September 25 at the Sport Palace to congratulate them on successfully passing the first-ever standardized nationwide exams.

President Saakashvili while addressing the students emphasized that for the first time in the Georgia's history there came the students who took part in fair and objective exams and could enroll in the universities through their knowledge alone. "Education system reform is a historic acquisition for our country," President Saakashvili said.

Several successful students, who also made an address at the forum, positively evaluated the entry exam method, stressing that every student was given a maximum opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge.
