THE PRESIDENT OF GEORGIA MICHAEL SAAKASHVILI HAS BECOME THE MAN OF THE YEAR OF THE CENTRAL AND EAST EUROPE

The President of Georgia Michael Saakashvili went to Poland with a two-day business visit. He participates in the 16th Economical Forum in Krinitsa. The Prime Minister of Poland declared Michael Saakashvili to be the Man of the Year of the Central and East Europe and awarded him.
Before the award the Prime Minister of Poland Yaroslav Kachinski went out with a speech and spoke about the successes, which the Georgia had reached in the shortest terms thanks to the President of Georgia Michael Saakashvili.

"If someone wants to see the country, which in the shortest terms has achieved progress and success, he should come to Georgia. All this is the merit of President Michael Saakashvili", Yaroslav Kachinski declared.

At the forum great attention was paid to Georgia and Ukrain, which were the countries, wishing to become the members of the Euro Union. Special accents were made on the current reforms in Georgia and Ukraine.

"We should realize that Europeans do not speak so emotionally. You have seen how Kachinski spoke about Georgia. Today I look at Krinistsa, which looks much alike Borjomi, just Borjomi is much more attractive and has much more potential. Hotels and roads in Krinitsa are in much better situation, as during the last 15 years they are developing. We found Borjomi, Batumi, Chakvi, Bakuriani, Kobuleti and Tskhaltubo in a very bad state. During the last two years we have followed the way, which we should have passed since 1991. Despite of blackmail and provocations, we should operate even quicker and surpass many countries. The one, who makes provocations, also misses Georgia very much, and his hands itch, as the most delicious piece has been taken from his hands. We shall not be a piece of anybody, if they wish, they can come here and have a rest", the President of Georgia Michael Saakashvili stated.

After the end of the forum there was a tasting of Georgian wine. Afterwards, ensemble "Rustavi" presented Georgian culture. The President of Georgia Michael Saakashvili will return to the motherland tomorrow.
