Orthodox Church celebrates the day of 12 apostils and Svetitskhovloba today. Catholic-Patriarch of all Georgia, his Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II served liturgy in Svetitskhoveli cathedral, which was attended by the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili together with the members of government. After divine liturgy the President visited the rehabilitation works around the cathedral and talked with the parish gathered in Svetitskhoveli yard. The President congratulated them the celebration and promised that after the complex rehabilitation processes their city would become even more beautiful.
