President Saakashvili visits Sarpi customs
Today President Mikheil Saakashvili visited Adjara to see the ongoing construction works there. Prior to that the President visited the Sarpi customs where he saw long lines of trucks and criticized the customs authority for this. He ordered to solve the problem in an hour.
"When there are problems in the customs, the customs chief should be in the office. Customs procedures should not bother people. Anyone, who would not be able to cope with this, will be dismissed. In summer, people should pass through the customs without any problem. The similar lines had been in the Soviet Union, in the 70s. We should be a normal, European country," President Saakashvili said.
