The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili examined fishing seiners "Millenium Madai", "Baraqa Madai" and "Sip Madai" technical conditions in details during his visit in Poti.

General Director of "Madai" noted during his discussion with Mikheil Saakashvili that Georgia never possessed seiners of such power even during the Communist period. The President of Georgia considered this fact as one of the first conditions of resolving fishing problems in Georgia and stated that most of Madai production will be sold in Georgia after Madai fish-producing factory starts to work. The Chairman of Fishing Union Murad Miminoshvili reminded President about his pre-election promise and asked to issue credit in order to purchase two more ships.

Mikheil Saakashvili sailed with a new seiner in the sea together with the journalists. After he visited the historical museum of Port and met with the city intelligencia.
