Mikheil Saakashvili went to a sea-coast village in Mengrelia together with the Spanish architect, they went round the territory and discussed new construction projects. As Mikheil Saakashvili stated a yacht club should be built in Anaklia and together with a hanging bridge as for the historic fortress it should be restored.

"This place has a historic value, it was built in 16th century. If we realize our plans there should be no other place like this in Goergia. Anaklia will be the prettiest resort in Georgia. Ships and yachts will enter this place, there will be a yacht club on the seashore and on the opposite side there will be a historic fortress with museums and corresponding infrastructure", Mikheil Saakashvili stated.

It should be noted that a new boulevard in Batumi was projected by the same Spanish architects that went to Anaklia together with the President.
