Mikheil Saakashvili met with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan today.  The sides discussed the wide specter of mutual political, economic, and cultural cooperation, including regional and international issues. The economic, strategic, and regional projects that Georgia and Azerbaijan are implementing mutually were among the main topics of discussion. Special attention was drawn to the process and importance of building the Kars-Akhalkalaki railway. In his turn, Artur Rasi Zade focused attention on the special and cordial relations that the two countries have and expressed desire to cooperate more closely in the future, including on the issues of joint projects.
