On April 28 President Mikheil Saakashvili left for Brussels on a four-day working visit to participate in the international forum "Transatlantic Challenges in a Global Era".

President Saakashvili is scheduled to meet with Wilfried Martens, president of the European People's Party, Hans-Gert Poettering, chairman of the European People's Party, Guy Verhofstadt, Belgian Prime Minister, Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission and other officials to discuss bilateral cooperation issues.
