Today President of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer paid two-day official visit to Georgia.

A reception ceremony took place at the Parliament yard after which the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and the President of Turkey held a face-to-face meeting.

Following the meeting high level negotiations and joint documents' signing ceremony took place between the Turkish and Georgian delegations. Afterwards the two Presidents held a joint press conference.

Today the Turkish President will meet with the Georgian Parliament Speaker Nino Burjanadze. Tomorrow he is scheduled to meet with the Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli.

President of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer will leave Georgia on March 15.
