On September 1, 2008 the First Lady of Georgia, Sandra E. Roelofs visited IDPs from Tskhinvali, Kareli and Gori regions at the sites of temporary placement located in Gori. Mrs. Roelofs gave mattresses, linen, warm bedspreads and pillows to the IDPs with the assistance of the Rostropovich-Vishnevskaia Foundation and the GIEV Foundation, as well as hygiene products and baby food with the assistance of UNICEF.
