On January 2, 2011, the First Lady of Georgia, Sandra E. Roelofs invited 6 (6 adults and 11 children)   socially vulnerable families from Tbilisi to the tradition New Year’s excursion to Bedoba (Georgian traditional day which determines a person’s fate throughout the year), in Batumi. They visited Batumi sightseeing, particularly, the Botanical Gardens, Nobel Museum, the old and new boulevard, the aquarium and the Gonio fortress.
