The visit of the President of Georgia to the United States continues. The Head of State awarded a former President of the United States (1993-2001), Bill Clinton, with the Victory Order of Saint George for his special support and contribution in strengthening ties between the two countries.
“You have changed a big part of the world. A handful of people have been able to achieve this much in such a short time period. You worked a lot on social equality. I think you have managed to save small countries like ours…you are a great historic personality not only for America but for the entire world” - stated Mikheil Saakashvili.
In his turn, Bill Clinton thanked the President of Georgia and noted that it is a great honor for him to receive such an award.
