The President of Georgia made a statement about the scheduled vote regarding constitutional changes and the ongoing political events. According to him, both political forces must make a joint decision regarding constitutional issues. As Mikheil Saakashvili noted, it is imperative that the political process returns within the framework of parliamentary overview, discussion and dialogue. He stated that this will be good for everyone - first of all for the Georgian society. He called on the parliamentary majority and minority to set aside their personal ambitions and accept each other’s offers.
