The President of Georgia decorated Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with the Presidential Order of Excellence today. The President of Georgia thanked Judith Gough for her diplomatic work and special contribution in strengthening relations between Georgia and Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Mikheil Saakashvili held a farewell meeting with the UK Ambassador at the Presidential Palace.
Judith Gough had been serving with a diplomatic mission to Georgia since 2010.
