Mikheil Saakashvili visited Zaabruken Square today, where rehabilitation of 10 houses, the square walkway, and public space has been finished. The President also visited the rehabilitated Uznadze Street with the Mayor of Tbilisi. As he noted, rehabilitation must be administered in all parts of Chugureti and the entire city must become more beautiful. Working hard around the clock is required in order to accomplish this according to the President.
The reconstruction process began in spring 2012. The basement and exterior of the 10 houses were strengthened and the sewage and pipeline systems fully replaced around Zaarbruken Square. A public walkway was also created around the square connecting it to Agmashenebeli Avenue. A new system of lighting was also installed.
