Manana Manjgaladze familiarized journalists with the decision of the President of Georgia regarding the arrest of the citizens of Israel in 2010 in Georgia.
“On December 2, 2011 the President of Georgia made a decision to pardon Roni Fuchs and Ze’ev Frankel while considering humane reasons as well as their age and health conditions” – stated the Press Speaker
The two citizens of Israel, Roni Fuchs and Ze’ev Frankel were arrested by Georgian law enforcement officials on October 14, 2010 in Batumi. The City Court of Tbilisi recognized them guilty of offering a bribe and convicted them based on the Article 339, Part 3 of the Georgian Criminal Code.
