The President of Georgia met with the President of Latvia

The President of Georgia met with the President of Latvia within the scope of the New York visit. The leaders talked about the issues crucial to the development of both countries and also discussed issues related to the education sphere. They discussed the prospects of deepening economic relations between Georgia and Latvia and how these two countries can contribute to the process of strengthening the world economy as well as the European economy. The Presidents of Georgia and Latvia planned to cooperate in other areas as well. As the President of Latvia told Mikheil Saakashvili, the two countries have a very good relationship, which must become even more productive in the future.

 At the end of their meeting, the President of Latvia invited his colleague to his Latvia. On his part, Mikheil Saakashvili will host Andris Berzins in Georgia.
