Mikheil Saakashvili held official meetings in Hungary

The President of Georgia finished his official visit in Hungary today. Mikheil Saakashvili held meetings with Hungarian officials. In particular he met with Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban. They discussed the issues of bilateral relations and future cooperation

The last meeting the President held was with the Speaker and the Deputies of Parliament. The President of Georgia was invited as an honorary guest to Hungarian Parliament Conference Hall. The Vice Speaker of the Parliament called Mikheil Saakashvili's visit historical and the President a leader of a country that is outstanding with its reforms.

"This is a historic visit of the President of Georgia. I want to say that he is a leader of a country that is outstanding with its reforms. The fact that the Speaker of Hungarian Parliament was in Georgia once again proves the will of deepening cooperation and relations beteen the countries", he noted.

The President of Georgia laid a wreath on the memorial of Hungarian heroes later today.
