The President of Georgia got interested with the problems created in Tbilisi water supply system and personally visited Natakhtari Water intake facility at Aragvi gorge. As the representatives of ‘Georgian Water and Power" reported the President on site the problem was caused by the significant increase of water level at Aragvi river and for defending running water from contamination the lockage of water intake facility. Mikheil Saakashvili got familiarized with ongoing works. The Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava was with the President as well. The leader of the country gave him specific tasks.

"Until the limitation on water is in power - we must make a plan according to which none of the regions of Tbilisi will be given privileges. It is terrible when a family has no water - they cannot cook and cannot do anything. It is especially hard for the residents of high-storey buildings. Even if we bring water with tanks to the building it is very hard to carry it on high-floors. This is why it is important to inform people and even if the situation gets worse we will have all possible plan "B"s developed. And in general we must have this type of scheme for the contingency situations", the President of Georgia stated.
