The President of Georgia visited new informational center in Kutaisi

The President of Georgia opened an Informational Center of Vocational College in Kutaisi today that will provide help to the local population in selecting their occupation and finding jobs. Anyone who wants to obtain vocational skills have a chance to register at this center, select an occupation and obtain a new profession; the graduates will search for jobs within the scopes of whole country.

Mikheil Saakashvili visited Kutaisi Vocational College and together with the Minister of Education and Sciences laid a foundation to the construction of one more such college. The President met employed people and those, who are obtaining vocational education. 25 occupations are taught at college in total. Mikheil Saakashvili received information regarding every theoretical or practical study within the college.

Mikheil Saakashvili visited State Administered School named after Zurab Jhvania where 80 Azerbaijanis are studying Georgian language. During the discussion the President noted that the fundamental knowledge of Georgian language is extremely important and necessary for the representatives of ethnic minorities for their professional success. Long-term courses of Georgian language are held in State Administered School named after Zurab Jhvania by the initiative of the President of Georgia.

"The fact that you study Georgian language gives me hopes. It gives me a hope and inspiration, when an experienced labor veterans still can learn something new and have perception of something new; among them study languages in a better way. Especially if youth has this type of will. We want Georgian Azerbaijani to be successful. This is why they must know sure the language of their origin - Azerbaijani - and sure they must know Georgian, because this is their national language. We never differ Georgians and Azerbaijani from one another. Georgia belongs to them equally, but in order to strengthen this once and for all - Georgian must become their partner in their lives. This is why you are providing huge service for Georgia and I am grateful for you in what you are doing", Mikheil Saakashvili noted.

The President visited the construction site of new Parliament building in Batumi as well.
