The President of Georgia responded to people's questions in televised phone-in

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili responded to the questions asked by people in televised phone-in within the frames of First Informational Caucasian's project "President Answers People's Questions". The majority of questions were about social thematic, internal and foreign policy, ongoing reforms, return of occupied territories and development of tourism. The audience, representatives of various specializations and media had a chance to ask questions to the President on air. During three hours of phone-in the questions were asked from Misaktsieli, Mestia, Adjara, Marneuli. Besides this Georgians living abroad asked questions as well. The informational center was working in nonstop regime, where more than 15 thousand questions were received. The President congratulated "First Informational Caucasian Channel" with starting broadcasting and noted that the opening of a channel that will cover whole Caucasus, post Soviet space and in most of European countries is "an unique chance for our journalism, for our freedom of speech and for our country. This is a very important cultural, social and political initiative".
