The President of Georgia MikheilSaakashvili awarded PaataBurchuladze with the Presidential Order of Excellency at the ceremony dedicated to the opening of a new Cadets' Corps in Kutaisi. Mega Star PaataBurchuladze and Cadets opened the event with the National Anthem of Georgia. MikheilSaakashvili stated that PaataBurchuladze is a great Georgian singer and that he is an example of many important achievements. MikheilSaakashvili said that he welcomes those activities that PaataBurchuladze is carrying out and called on the media and the society to support these activities.
"When we are talking about achievements I want to greet PaataBurchuladze. He is a great Georgian singer such as VanoSarajishvili, David Gamrekeli, ZurabAnjaparidze. Probably many people like them will be born in Georgia again and again. PaataBurchuladze is a great singer. For many people around the music world PaataBurculadze and Georgia are the same. PaataBurchuladze is an example of achievements and he is helping with these achievements the unsecured part of the society. It was a great honor when we awarded this great public figure with the Order; this is Presidential Order of Excellency that describes his nature the best. Excellency is not only the talent, this is an excellent human nature. I want to welcome what Paata does for people. I want TV stations and people to respond to what is done by the blessings of our Patriarch on Makhata Mountain and support it. I want to support what Paata is doing for people and award him with Presidential Order of Excellency and wish him success in great national activities that he carries out", MikheilSaakashvili stated.
PaataBurchuladze thanked the President for the award. "This is a very important day in the history of Georgia. David Razmadze is accompanying me today. Whole Georgia knows him. He is the face of 2008 war. He lost his father and pregnant mother in this war. Fund "Iavnana" took the patronage over this boy. He is our beloved son. The Cathedral of St Mary's Icon is being built on Makhata Mountain by the blessings of Patriarch of all Georgia. Thank you very much Mr. President for your support in this great action", PaataBurchulade stated.
