Mikheil Saakashvili received the representatives of culture in the President's Palace, in Avlabari. Vakhtang Kakhidze, Lili Ioseliani and Kakhi Kavsadze were awarded Shota Rustaveli prize. Twenty scholars were rewarded the National Award. "Despite this extremely difficult situation, despite huge material hardship and unfortunately for lack of appreciation, Georgian scholars and representatives of culture still create new works and enrich the world treasure by filling up the Georgian treasure", Mikheil Saakashvili stated.
