On July 1 President Mikheil Saakashvili commented on the unrest that took place yesterday evening in Tbilisi city center. "When there are abundant of problems in the country a fight for the rescue of a bandit is one of the most comic and shameful incidents that I have ever seen during my political career," President Saakashvili said stressing that fight against organized crime and corruption would double.
"I promise my people that there will not be a cast of so called untouchable people," President Saakashvili said stressing that he is satisfied with the performance of the Interior Ministry and it's Minister Vano Merabishvili and the Head of Tbilisi police Merab Baghaturia.
