Today, Spokesperson of the President, Gela Charkviani, commented on the attack on Irakli Kakabadze who serves as an occasional anchor for the 202 television station's political talk-show "Debates,"stating that President Saakashvili has already instructed law enforcers to promptly investigate the case.
Spokesperson Charkviani called absurd a supposition as if an attack on Mr. Kakabadze was instigated by the government. "Such an accusation is absolutely groundless. The government and President himself is interested in finding out the truth," - Gela Charkviani said at the news conference.
