Today, in Lilo district, President Mikheil Saakashvili visited a factory of a modern and the biggest pharmaceutical company in Georgia and in Caucasus countries - Aversi-Pharma.
"The day, when I visit a new successful company, is a lucky day for me. I wish that all 365 days were like this, but it is impossible. This company has created 100 job opportunities. However, this is not only walls and equipments. This is the place where qualified people, who had been trained abroad, work," President Saakashvili said while talking about the importance of a successful company. He also stressed that the Georgian government is working on making amendments to the customs law which will facilitate the procedure of importing modern equipments and will free imported goods from taxes.
"The combination of freedom, infrastructure and knowledge makes a company successful," President Saakashvili said, stressing that it was the formula for a successful company.
Today President Saakashvili also visited a mobile unit of an eye clinic Oftalmij, by means of which the eye doctors conduct free medical investigations on the whole territory of Georgia.
