President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili met with Khavier Solana and John Bolton

At the press conference that held after informal meeting of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of NATO member countries in New York was taken the decision to pass to intensive dialogue with Georgia. The President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili met with Mr. John Bolton, the head of mission of the USA to UN and with Mr. Khavier Solana, the General Secretary of the Council of European Union, the Supreme Representative of the European Union for General Foreign and Security Policy. The main subject of the meeting was integration of Georgia with NATO and frozen conflicts. 
The NATO alliance supported passing of Georgia to the intensive dialogue with NATO that means close relationship of Georgia with NATO. The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili calls this decision as keeping his word that is very serious and historical step. Passing on intensive dialogue with NATO after individual partnership program with Georgia means irreversible process of integration with NATO - said the President of Georgia - Mikheil Saakashvili. "This is highly important leap to great progress. Now Georgia needs unity and stability most of all" - said the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
