Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili today traveled to Asgabat, Turkmenistan to attend the inauguration of that country's new president, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow.
Also in attendance at the ceremony were the presidents of Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
