The President of Georgia visits the Guria region

The President of Georgia visited Ozurgeti region and listened to the problems of the local population personally. The representatives of the Georgian government and chiefs of local administrations were rebuked for unresolved problems and received instructions from the President of Georgia. "Many social issues, which were to be solved in Guria, were practically frozen, because of the inactivity of the government. People could not feel, that they were able to go to the government directly and receive any satisfactory answer from them. This has to end once and forever. People should understand that the government belongs to them, the government works to create jobs, the government works not to create the sense of injustice to each citizen - these are our missions. The government has to for serve the people and not on the contrary. This is why we will utmost increase the freedom of activity, we will give you more budget and more power, but all of this has to be spent on our people" - stated the President of Georgia.

The President of Georgia opened a new clay processing factory in the village Dvabzu. Later he visited tea factory in Ozurgeti.

Mikheil Saakashvili visited Vashalomidze's together with the Governor of Georgia. The hostess was 86 years old lady. At Vashalomidze's family the conversation was about social and health, as well as the unemployment problems.

Later, the President of Georgia went to see the newly built Church of Virgin Mary. There is a cemetery of the National Georgian Hero Zaza Damenia, who fell dead during the battle in Tskhinvali. Mikheil Saakashvili met Zaza Damenia's mother as well.
