The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili spoke with the Minister of Agriculture and the Prime Minister

The President of Georgia met the Minister of Agriculture Petre Tsiskarishvili and the Prime Minister Lado Gurgenidze, and spoke about the importance of the cheap credits. As the President stated, one of the main components of the government's 50-day program and one of the top priorities is the issuance of cheap credits. Due to his statement, it is very important for the development of the local market, and the opening of new companies will serve to create new jobs, which is a factor of overcoming poverty in its turn.

"Besides cheap credits, we must develop microcredits, mortgage. It means that people should have a chance to get the credit before harvest, in order to buy fertilizers, agricultural equipment, and we will assist them in it. We must give them a possibility, to return credit after gathering the harvest. People should have a chance to use the market" - noted Mikheil Saakashvili during the dialogue with the members of the government.
