The President of Georgia Mikhel Saakashvili met the representatives of the opposition Gogi Topadze and Gia Maisashvili at the State Chancellery today. Due to the hard times the president expressed his will to discuss issues concerning Abkhazia with all existing political forces. Mikheil Saakashvili believes, that one position should develope on this issue in the country.
"Despite the political differences and despite the fact that we may disagree on some issues, there are issues that can not be a source of dispute between us - these are the territorial integrity of Georgia, Georgia's unity and the future of our country. Everything can change in Georgia tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, many governments may change, but if we lose our territory left to us by our ancestors, everything else may lose sense. Those who understand it, they are real patriots and have the future in our country. This is true. I am ready to listen to your views on these issues" - Mikheil Saakashvili stated.
