6/16/2008

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened a new hotel in Kobuleti today. As he has mentioned "Georgian Hotel Palace" will be the first five-star hotel in the Black-Sea region.

Many hotels are built in Georgia and unfortunately mostly foreign workers work on constructions. I want to underline that the investor of this hotel is Georgian and the workers and service personnel are Georgians as well. This is the model of how the construction process should be carried out in Georgia. Georgians managed to finish their work twice as fast as foreigners. This is what makes me happy!" stated Mikheil Saakashvili and added - "We have to make this place much better than Antalia. So we need absolute freedom and maximum stimulus".

A businessman Temur Chkonia financed the construction. A Georgian company built the hotel. There are 155 rooms and five suites in the hotel.
