IDP children, living in a new residential district of Tserovani started a new school year in a new school building. 900 schoolchildren will study in a school that was built according to the modern standards. Mikheil Saakasvhili personally thanked Mamuka Khazaradze for the job done. "This is a perfect example of the cooperation between the state and the business in a useful work for the society. This is a very important day for me and for the children it is a beginning of the new life", stated the President of Georgia.

The President and schoolchildren entered school #3 in Tserovani after the first bell rang. Mikheil Saakashvili and got familiar with several children. As the President pointed out the President of Russia in his congratulation speech mostly spoke about how bad Georgia is.

I came here to speak how good we are and how good our country is, how multi-ethic our country is. We are good and strong people because many other people, who experienced this sort of tragedy would not have got back on their feet.

Our land is still occupied, but although we have not yet won, they have already lost this struggle. To eventually win this struggle we need knowledge; we wont' be able to prevail over them neither with weapons nor with number of people and nor with cruelty, because we are opposite to that; and in order to get rid of this cruel enemy we need to be equipped with knowledge", Mikheil Saakashvili stated.

Today, according to the President's order the system of golden and silver medals came into usage. Several schoolchildren were awarded prizes by the President himself.

"We introduced golden and silver medals again, it was a mistake to withdraw them. I am proud that I owe golden medal, I have never received a prize higher than this. This was a prize for my family and me. So this prize will be important for you and your families. We have as well introduced benefits for excellent students. We renewed Olympiads too", stated the President of Georgia.

Mikheil Saakashvili went round the schoolyard and planted the first tree together with schoolchildren. "We have to plant trees in this residential district", said the President of Georgia.
