President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus paid an official visit to Georgia on November 9. A reception ceremony took place at the Parliament yard after which the two Presidents held a face-to-face talk and discussed the issues of Georgia's integration into the NATO and the EU, sharing Lithuania's experience in the integration process and strengthening the relations between Georgia and Lithuania.
After the talks a document on mutual cooperation between Georgia and Lithuania in economic and border defense spheres was signed. After signing the document the two Presidents held a joint news conference.
